Wilson Dental renewed my health and gave me confidence. I had surgery to have all of my teeth removed, and every provider I worked with during that process was knowledgeable and compassionate. This practice is bringing quality dental care to all groups of people, even people like me who are poor and on Medicaid. I never thought I would have an opportunity like this and I am so thankful for Wilson Dental. One of the biggest complaints I see is about the staff, to that I say: be patient. I understand that being at the dentist isn't fun. But I promise you, no one is giving you longer wait times because they want to. Wilson Dental is doing their best to provide all their patients with quality care. There's just so many of us, and only so many of them. They're doing their best and have the ability to perform even better when you give them compassion. The people who work here are human beings, and they just want to help everyone. Some things are just out of their control, like wait times, appointment scheduling, how long it takes your body to heal, etc. Speaking of which, it takes a lot of time for your mouth to heal after getting teeth removed. In my experience, my dentures hurt at first, and fit in my mouth a bit awkwardly, but all I needed was time. I know this can feel embarrassing and uncomfortable but it is just part of the process. Even when I thought my mouth was healed, it still wasn't all the way there. Now that I've had more time to heal, I wear them without discomfort and they fit me perfectly. They can do adjustments, but in my experience, what I thought needed adjustment really just needed time to heal. I also wanted to add that I have PTSD from a negative experience involving doctors. (This kept me from seeing a dentist for far too long.) Prior to surgery, I had a flashback in the operation room and my surgeon was very compassionate and kind. Not only did they help me calm down, but I was able to feel safe enough to continue with the procedure and the su

It is true the waiting was a bit tedious. I had a wisdom teeth extraction at 2:00pm and arrived on the dot. I wasn’t let in until around 2:55pm. Once all the equipment were set up on me, the actual surgery didn’t start until 3:25pm. I was done after an hour or so and I was given a bag with recovery supplies i.e 2 packages of gauzes, 2 syringes, and a pamphlet on post-op recovery to take home with me. The staff were extremely friendly. I was very nervous and as a result I cried twice! However, they were able to calm me down, especially this one guy. I don’t think he told me his name but he kept me calm and explained the entire procedure to me. Also, they are flexible with their appointment times and will call you for earlier appointment spots if they open up. I took up the offer! Thank you Wilson Dental!

Happy with the 2 year progress; thanks to the team and the DD. Can't wait to loose the braces and try on retainer/invisalign.

I am honestly surprised with how satisfied I am. I’ve been looking for a dentist for literally 7 years because no one takes my insurance. My sister recommend wilson dental and at first I wasn’t sure how to feel about it. But I tried it anyways. I had 2 REALLY bad impacted wisdom teeth, like terrible. One of them caused an infection and the other one was so far pushed up against my molar that if it was left there any longer , it was gonna cause nerve damage to my other teeth. I had no option but to get the ripped out. On the day of my appointment I was very nervous. The doctor was really nice and cracked some jokes with me to make me feel comfortable. It did feel as though that he was in a rush, that place gets very busy so I was nervous that he wasn’t gonna take his time on my teeth and mess something up. He explained to me what was going on with my teeth and told me he was gonna have to leave a part of the tooth in the extraction center because he didn’t want to cause nerve damage to my molars. I ended up going to sleep and woke up kind of shocked I just did that. Well it’s been 5 days now and I’m doing really good recovering. I’m following all the instructions and I barely have any pain what so ever. I am very grateful I got this procedure done. I would recommend to people who are having a hard time finding a dentist. The wait time is long, I’m not gonna lie, I was waiting in the procedure room for 45 minutes before the doctor came in. But honestly I’d rather wait the time and not have any dental complications.
